--"I want to apologize to our fans." Said the team's effort wasn't up to par today. Said he has to "get this right."

--"This wasn't an X and O problem. We got beat to everything." Said Florida point-blank beat them and there wasn't fight after Florida's effort in the first few minutes.

"We looked for the back door and snuck out of the fight."

--Martin said this is a hurt team lacking spirit in practice. Leadership would help and stand up when things aren't being done the right way. Said team will "stink as a basketball team" if he's having to teach effort and discipline.

--Martin said the team isn't living up to their side of the bargain in terms of effort. Teams are playing South Carolina like they would the last few years and this team isn't like that right now.

--Said in this day and age it's hard to get people to change bad habits. Said it can't happen pretty quick and it's difficult because now coaches can't wait three years for changed habits.

"This school's hired me to fix problems...I've got to fix it."

--Chris Silva has never been the front line guy ever in his career. Said stats are irrelevant to playing well but Silva's never been responsible for doing the little things that lead directly to a win and he's been trying to figure it out all season. Said inconsistent guard play hasn't helped him, either, putting unbelievable pressure on Silva and Maik Kotsar.

--Martin said it was weird having an official who "turned his back on the SEC" officiating SEC games. Asked the question: "Chris Silva leads the country in free throw attempts. But nobody pushes him?"

"For our league office to have that happen is wrong."

--On the technical: "We shot seven balls inside the paint and there's never been a call made and i don't say a word. then the first time Chris tried to stay between the ball and the rim there's a foul on him...I'm always going to fight for my team."

--Said guarding ball screens is about "courage." Said guard play isn't good right now. Said UF ran a lot of ball screens and guards didn't have the discipline or courage to defend them.

"We got guys, there's no fight."
