What will the SEC change its name to?

Even Coach BMW Beamer Sr. did not want to play West Virginia. Quotes from attachment in bold.

In addition to posting undercover Morgantown police officers in the stands at Mountaineer Field, WVU has started running public service announcements on television and statewide radio stations stressing the importance of good sportsmanship.

Players, coaches and fans for teams including the University of Maryland and the University of Louisville have criticized WVU supporters for what they say is some of the worst fan behavior they've seen. Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer has said several times he doesn't even want his team playing WVU because of the way Tech fans are treated in Morgantown's stands.

Well, yes, that is somewhat what I had in mind. It’s now more likely than not that OSU and Michigan end up joining at some point. There’s certainly nothing in the least southeastern about UT, A&M or OU but folks want to pretend that way. Once OSU and UM jump on board, even the most die-hard won’t be able to make believe.
The southeast, as we have known it, is not an official region or designation. It is a term that developed informally. The new footprint lies generally in the southeastern quadrant of the lower 48, so it is still both descriptive and operative. I would also remind you that, so far, all of these conference states are contiguous to at least one of the other conference states. Why, even Missouri is contiguous to three SEC states. In that respect, they are better connected than we are, inasmuch as we only connect with Georgia. We are on the fringes of the conference more than they when viewed from that perspective. However, it's not a foregone conclusion that the SEC would change its name were Ohio State and Michigan to come in. The SEC brand is powerful.

With the continued addition of teams from well outside the southeast region, with more to come, a name change is inevitable at some point. Teams the stature of Texas and OU will eventually want a name that better represents them. Nothing is sacred in college football these days, not even the name “SEC”.

Wonder what the league will go with.
You can divide the country into four quadrants, northwest, southwest, northeast, southeast. Southeast still works. Until you grab somebody obviously in a different quadrant

The "Big 18" sounds good, doesn't it?

At one time, Atlanta Falcons use to play in the NFC Western division with the 49ers, Rams and Saints.
