What's the difference between jam and jelly?

Well...if this is a serious question(and not a lead in to a joke), there is no fruit in jelly.
 
Yes, jam is what a Tater bastes his possum in for Sunday dinner. KY jelly are what 2 Tater boys use in large quantities on their honeymoon.

Betcha lotsa Taters get their jams and jellies mixed up (it's something Taters are just prone to do). Therefore, I NEVER eat a meal at a Tater's house.

Jam is the consistency of the brain of a soulless, lonely, little fella who feels the need to troll Internet message boards. Jelly is colloquial abbreviation "the kids" use to describe his emotions.
