I'm really upset that it is as bad as it is, but I am not ready to hold Kngston's feet to the fire.
Not surprising at all since last year our current Junior class proved they choked in clutch situations. Just go back and look what we did last year with runners in scoring position and this year is no different. Kingston should not be evaluated until this Junior class is gone, as clearly they are not winners at all.
But hey, on the bright side, we're only 10 SEC series' away from...er...uh...losing 10 SEC series' in a row. Or something.
Ok, let's just look at the time-line...
Chad Holbroken resigned on June 6, 2017...
MLB draft started somewhere in the middle of June...
Mark Kingston was hired on June 29, 2017...
Jerry Myers took a medical leave on November 3, 2017... BTW, Do we have an update on Jerry???
Skylard Meade came in somewhere in November 2017...
We knew that coming into the season we had no pitching and we never had any hitting...
We have 5 seniors and 11 Juniors..
I'm ok with Mark Kingston cleaning house after this season...
