Good question.
I think baseball will bounce back and be an NCAA tournament team. If some of this year's freshmen continue to improve, I think there is a lot of good potential there that is only going to get better. We'll see what the recruiting class brings (and how many kids sign to play minor leauge baseball instead of coming to college... that's always the wildcard with baseball). Despite a bad year in 2015, I still believe Holbrook can get it done. Obviously another sub-par year next year would certainly be worriesome.
That being said, barring injuries, I think men's basketball has potential to build on this past year and get to the postseason. I think we should expect NIT at this point and see if the guys can do a little better. I think this was the hardest thing to build since the program has basically been bad for so long so it's tough to get those "next level" guys to commit ... but the Dozier kid should help, and from what I've seen and heard, the players love Martin, so I think there's a good chance to turn the corner.
Football - too many questions to make an educated guess right now. Still in rebuilding mode, but I can deal with that as long as the fundamentals on defense are improved (don't miss tackles etc.). Got spoiled by those three 11 win seasons, where anything else is a downer. Hopefully, it will be back on the upward trend this year.
Go Gamecocks!
