But for the next 48 hours we'll hear nothing but georgia hype as people try to push them into the playoffs.

I hate UGA. But other than Bama , Who is better than UGA. Michigan??? Who beat an OVERRATED & OVERHYPED OHIO STATE TEAM. Cincinnati isn't either. I am looking forward to when they expand the playoff to at least 8 Teams.

I think of it like this, Cincy, UM, even ND earned a shot. Uga just had theirs.
If they give them a second shot, then they need to be #4. As much as I hate rematches, I certainly don't want to risk a rematch national title game. Talk about ruining the game.

Yeah, WADR, they may be better on paper, but weren't in the game taday. Hate to say it, but they got out gamed/coached. Simple as that.
Everyone knew this COULD happen. Georgia has some soul-searching to do. They have too much talent to get drubbed like this. But their quarterback can't put them on his back when they get in the lurch. Also, they needed to hit that tight end even more than what they did.

College football is short. Alabama is better than Georgia. The head to head has been played. Georgia has had their shot. This is not a regular season game. An early game sure. But this is the sec championship it should mean something. That is not what I think will happen but it’s what I think should happen.
I looked at the rankings, you're right. A non-top 20 Clemson is their best win. A team they beat that has no offense and they won by a pick six.
Hope they are out. I would bet good money if they get in. It will not be a rematch with Bama in game 1. Again I really hope they are out. Only pull for the leghumpers when they play clempson.
Yeah I dont like second chances either. At-large bids need to be ended and conference championships need to be an extension of the playoffs imo. I dont know why this continues to be fought. The only conference that ever benifits from the way it is now is the SEC. You would think it wouldnt be too hard to make a change
Pull for Bama so we can have two SEC teams in the national championship game. Probably far fetched but If Bama wins out maybe Nick will retire so Dabo can take his job.
As much as I hate UGA I still have to disagree with you. None of the other teams mentioned had to face Bama for a chance to get in the playoffs. And UGA has been #1 virtually the whole season and really looked the part. None of the teams getting left out have UGA's resume and body of work. And I hate UGA 2nd only to Clemson.
