I have seen so many of the people on here with so many negative comments, most of them will probably not even be at the game.
I really hope they manage close to sell out numbers. It does not matter what you think about the coach, you should still support your team and come show it.
Personally, I see a big win coming this game. I understand, ODU is not much, but we still get to see our guys out there in full pads doing all they can to win the game. I feel the lead will be so big that they will sit Sellers and let Ashford play some.

So, who will be there?

I've decided to go.

I've got a Junior there who is involved in and helps out with some of the gameday events. My wife wanted to go see him so I got a handful of tickets. One of my daughters thinks she will go if a friend of hers will go with us.

I think it will be a pretty good crowd, but not packed.

I’ll be there . Looking forward to seeing how we play and some of the young guys. Especially Sellers in a complete game. Got a big game next week so can’t afford to cone out soft or over look this group.

I like Beamer. I was not in favor of his hire. But I like him. All that being said, I think we will have a good year. But that's my bias. I like Sellers potential. We had so many injuries on the OL last year that we should have a lot of linemen with good experience. I think we have a stud at RB. Our defense is said to be the strength of the team and is supposed to be good. I like our DC Clayton White, a lot more than our OC Loggains. My hope is that Shawn Elliott will be a big help to our offense. Yes, I have predicted no less than a 7-5 record. That's my bias. because I don't want to start over with a new coach. I'm too old for that. By the way, the Charlotte Observer predicts a 7-5 record also.

I will watch on TV.

I'm actually going to tailgate. My daughter is bringing a friend so since they've never done it, we thought we'd bring some food. This is likely the only game I'll attend though.

suspect we’ll play similar to how NC State played last nigh. We’ll struggle all game until we win it by a touchdown or less. ODU is a disciplined football team.

I will not be there. As discussed elsewhere, the all day event with the kids has become boring to them. They much prefer cooking out and watching on TV.

I look forward to a sloppy first game, as usual, pulling away late.

This is one of those games that even if you win, you wish you were not there, unless a family member was involved.

Oh, it's not that bad. I am actually excited about it now. Got a nice day planned out. Won't stay for the entire game no matter what but I am glad to return this one time.

Hopefully, no damn drunks spoil it. I really, really hate drunks. I don't have much patience for that and I'll report their butts to security if they act the fool around my folks and I'll be honored to do whatever I can to make sure they are sent home unhappy. But, I'm going in with a positive attitude.

I agree with almost all of that. I'm not predicting 7-5 though. That will be tough.

I am also very interested in seeing what Shawn Elliott brings to the table. I think he has developed into a very good coach and I really like the hire. Also, a few weeks ago on the Game, I barely caught part of a discussion where someone, I think a player, was interviewed and made it sound like Elliott will have a much bigger part in the offense than just his titles suggested. Almost seemed like they were suggesting that he was more "the man" on offense than Loggains. Not sure how accurate that was, but it gives me some hope we will see some improvement.

Looking forward to seeing if we have any potential this year. I can't recall a season with so many unknowns.

The day they enclose WB and install AC will be the day I go to a noon game there in August.

Also like Furrey as WR coach: has been a Head Coach and coached in the NFL. Blackwell can breathe; so that makes him an automatic upgrade from last season's RB coach. And though DeCamillis is Special Teams, not offense, I like his NFL experience.
