Who you got: Cincy vs Bama and UGA vs Michigan?

Cincy upsets Bama. Their CB’s are 1st rnd talent. UGA squeezes UM and thumps Cincy in NATY. Or Bama thumps Cincy, Michigan beats UGA and they beat Bama for the NATY. Harbaugh. Is my generation. I met him in San Fran when he was coaching out there and talked for 30 minutes. Great guy.

I think Georgia and Alabama destroy their opponents today.

I wish Cincy was competitive with Bama, but its just not going to happen. Michigan will generate few yards against Georgia.

I think so. Harbaugh has a knack for screwing up. But Smart could, too.
But like Freddie, I rarely get one right. In two bowl pools, at 11-17 in one and 14-14 in the other. I put a few minutes in studying some of the matchups, but to no avail. If you want to win the bowl pick ‘um, I’ll send my picks next year and you can pick the opposite and do well.

On the contrary, I usually do real well in the NCAA tournament.

I think Bama rolls. You just can’t give Saban this much time to game plan. He rarely loses when he can plan. I think Michigan gives UGA all they can handle. I think UGA’s defense is not what folks think it is. In fact, I think the two teams are very similar. I expect a good game with a UM cover. As far as who wins - does it really matter? Neither will beat Bama.

Hope for Michigan and Cincy, think it will be Michigan and Bama because UGA thought they had it made, and an “average” Bama still smoked them, and Michigan was rolling before the season ended. Cincy does the little guys proud though, Michigan and Bama is then a matchup of the premier Blue Bloods, and is close with Bama unfortunately winning their 99th MNC, again, in what looked like a down year for them. Also, with 60+ bowls the playoffs especially need to start sooner. Teams get hot, and then are off for a month. And it doesn’t have anything to do with the fact Saban rarely loses with that much prep time, but simply seeing the best football. Yeah, it would be during Christmastime, but it’s one year of a 20 year old’s life

At least the Patriots have gone away in the NFL

I think that Alabama and UGA win and has a rematch.

I hate UGA (so I will be pulling for Michigan) and I’m tired of Bama but I want the SEC in the big game. So I hope it’s Al against Mi for the Championship and Michigan wins.

One thing is for sure, Cincy deserves to be there more than UGA deserved to be in the SECCG based on the game not being over at halftime

It was 24-17 at halftime of the SEC Championship game. Cincy didn't belong anywhere near the CPF.

My bad, I was thinking it was 24-10, but either way it was over, against an SEC powerhouse (UGA), and by your logic, that final shows UGA belonged no more than Cincy did. Cincy at least scored more than OSU, MSU, and ND combined in 3 separate playoff games.

The worst thing that ever happened in the history of college football was Boise State beating Oklahoma in that bowl game. Then UCF beat somebody to go unbeaten and give the media even more fuel. Ever since then, the media plays up some half assed team from some rinky dink conference like they can take down the big boys. Yeah..... Right. Cincinnati should have taken an invite to the Gasparilla bowl, beaten up on Florida and put up their "We went undefeated by beating absolutely no one and that gives us the right to crow forever that we could have beat them Bama boys and won it all" banner. Instead, we get a game where everyone but Bearcat fans knew the deal the day the bowl matchup was announced. Michigan beat the other team the media endlessly touts (the buckeyes) and that gives them the right to get pimp slapped by the Dawgs. Michigan at least plays competition with a pulse so they may have had a chance but Harbaugh.... Oh well.... Sec! Sec!

. . . but the SEC fraternity of AD's will all get double hernias hauling playoff money to the bank!
Wondering what the share of money for SEC teams vs ACC teams is this year. :D I'm imagining that playoff money and exposure has been helping Clemscum tremendously. Hopefully the sky falls in Turdtown quickly without that cash flowing in!
