Have seen a few post on this matter but would like to elaborate
Pros
1. Financial gains
2. State fan interest(excitement and hope)
3. cant think of one
Cons
1. Gives Clemson a reason to covet an SEC win
2. Georgia is closer in proximity, why dont they play
3. Our schedule is tough enough(SEC)
4. They play essentially one meaningful rivalry game a year, we play a schedule full of them
5. Recruiting( not playing them cant hurt us anymore than it already does)
6. One less game for Clemson to play in front of a relevant crowd.
7. Texas AM dropped Texas, which one is more desirable to play for NOW
8. Makes it harder for them to recruit in state for any kid that whats any part of an SEC experience
9. i know there are a dozen more resons but i will let you guys fill in the rest
