This time last year the tater cu fans were calling for JL to be canned. It was all over the media.. This year it has been quite in Pickens.. Looks like JL did enough to save his job for another year..

JL has done way more for Cu then Brad Scott. Surely they will offer JL an admin job before firing him..

He'll get one more year, his last farewell.

I think he will retire or get fired in the next couple of weeks. I believe the reason quempsum has not made any statements as of yet, relative to the future of Jacklegg is because the tater ad is waiting until the playoffs are finished in order to determine who they will go after to replace jacklegg. JMO.

legneck makes it to the cws next yr (he's the greatest again), but unfortunately loses back to back games to the cocks & is sent home w/ no cream:-(

Awaiting to talk to O'Sullivan at Florida...........

I know O'Sullivan and Corbin have connections to Clemson, but there is no way they would leave their positions of coaching winning D1 baseball programs, to take over another one that has been on the decline. I just don't see it. I may be wrong though. Radokovich may be waiting until after the CWS to make a move, but i'm surprised with what he said a year ago and what happened to their season, why he hasn't said anything publicly.

I think he resigns this year and I don't think he stays on in an administrative postion. I think hes tired of clemson in general.

I don't think there's a chance in hell that Corbin leaves Vandy but I do have one thing to say about O'Sullivan and Florida. It doesn't seem that the baseball team gets a lot of support in Gainesville. He's been good basically since his first season. This is his 8th year and he's been to Omaha 3 times and was runner up once. He's won 3 regular season SEC titles and 2 tournament titles. All he really hasn't done yet at Florida is win it all but you'd have to figure the way he recruits that it's only a matter of time.

As for the support, EVERY TIME I watch them on TV the place is no more than about half full and the field looks like crap. I've seen better looking grass at local high school fields. In the regionals last weekend I saw plenty of empty seats. Despite their success it doesn't seem that the average Florida fan gives 2 sharts about their baseball team. We all know that Florida has more money than they know what to do with but will they spend it? If Clemson comes real strong he might give the offer a thought if he's not happy with the support he gets from the fan base and/or the administration.

You nailed it. Florida does not support baseball; even as good as its been. Regional Final was a shell of attendance. O'Sullivan knows he can do better at Clemson.

No way a top SEC coach leaves to take over in Pickens. It would be a move backwards with little upside.
