Would any of you have started Wynkoop when game 1 was resumed??

I wouldn't have, just my opinion though. I know you want to win that 1st game, but I would have much rather have JW ready to go most of the 2nd game.

Didn't we do this in a regional a few years ago?

Worked out for us back then as we won the game and then won the next game.

But, if it's not a clinching or elimination game, I'm not in favor of it.

FWIW, Wynkoop probably would have started the second game if they didn't have a lengthy delay because of the injured umpire.

I personally thought Murray was going to get the nod again-he only threw like 4 pitches the night before in the 8th inning. But we put one of our best our there in Wynkoop in hopes of securing the win-almost screamed of desperation. I guess if we had won it looks like a great move. And as usual, we had no clutch hitting at the end of the game.
