not just the reaction to get that ball but he spun around and threw to 2nd without missing a beat.

How many times have we seen this kid this season? Not trying to start another "knock the staff" thread, and I don't know how good this kid really is yet.

But that was impressive. Kid appears to have a pitchers mentality and isn't afraid to pitch to contact...and looks to have ice in his veins.

I believe not seeing him much this year has more to do with just coming back after having been off a year for Tommy John surgery and wanting to be cautious with him. There have also been some issues with his control earlier in the year, and even to some extent last night. But, given what he did last night we could see him some more in the next few weeks if our season is extended.

I love the movement he has on his pitches and the way he battled back from being behind in the count. He gets some more experience and he'll be a very good pitcher for us.
