Maybe so but they had won like 13 games in a row, including sweeping Auburn last week.
So a series win against them is big.
Yep, seems like they're always competing for a national title. Solid series win.
Seems a bit early. We came into the series 16-5 with 3 of those losses being one-run games on the road to high quality opponents.

We haven't been ripping the cover off the ball, and they generally have good/great pitchers. Good to see timely hitting, great pitching and even some small ball thrown in.
Clemson is #4 and we may have lost two games by 5-4 scores, but we may be legitimate. I don't think Vandy is having an off year. We might be better than we thought. The pitching is beginning to find a solid rotation. The hitting has taken a little time to re-calibrate from last year, and the portal guys are finding their roles. The freshmen are beginning to shine. They just needed to get the right players in the right part of the rotations and line-ups.
I liked seeing us switch the order up to try and get guys going, cut the strikeouts down, and put the dang ball in play. Our pitching staff is one of the best in the country and held up really well this weekend!
