Like most, I expected to hear a lot more about him this year. Has been relatively quiet. Had 6 tackles against UNC, but only 10 since. Has played in 8 games so the red shirt is gone.

He's played decent for a freshman. With him playing on the interior, a lot of teams have avoided running up the gaps on us, meaning less stats. Similar to Kinlaw, he isn't making a lot of tackles, but he is doing his job, clogging up the middle. Our DL has been one of the bright spots all year.

Thanks! Good to know. Just hadn't heard much at all about him.

I am glad to have him. He will be a dominant player in the next few years. He is more than holding his own as a true freshman when he is in. Holds up well against double teams and gets a good push when one on one. We need more like him.

Spin away guys. I've watched every snap of this season and he hasn't lived up to it yet. Hopefully it changes next year but so far he's a disappointment.
So was Melvin Ingram at first as someone said above, Jadeveon Clowneys dont grow on trees. The guy will most likely develop into a decently high draft pick and be more than fine.

I am really proud of the defence this year. Against aTm, they played well enough to win.

What are you expecting out of a guy moving from a rush DE to the interior of the line? What stats are you looking at that determine he hasn't lived up to anything? He isn't going to put up the numbers at that position that he would if he were playing DE

Stats don't always tell the whole story.

agree he’s done a great job !
Scott and T Brown were two great hires
Now to get a great OC
Scott has done a good job at least that’s the way it seems, but you have to take into account that he’s had 3 seniors and one junior starting for him. Thomas Brown benefitted from having a healthy Rico Dowdle early in the season, and he got a transfer from Clemson and they looked good earlier in the year. But the last couple games we have only generated 67 yards I believe, and that’s bad. Dowdle and Feaster have been injured for the past few games but that’s no excuse for the low output. Brown should’ve had someone step up, and we’re only averaging 4 yards on the ground more then we did last year. Take away the CSU game and we are worse on the ground this season. I believe after the game tomorrow the average drops lower, than last years numbers and Bentley’s guy was always injured!

He's played well enough to get into the rotation on a pretty good defensive line.
The coaching staff moved him from defense end to defensive tackle. That’s a huge transition for a true freshman in the SEC. I am not surprised that we have not heard his name called

Coaches don’t agree and he grades out fine.

Next year is the year for Pickens and Sandidge. With Keir Thomas back, you have 3 Senior DT's that have played a lot of football taking up snaps.

We lose Kinlaw, Wonnum, Fennell, and Kobe Smith on the DL.

We have Brad Johnson, Thomas, Sterling, Sandidge, Enagbare, Gentry, Pickens, Anderson and Tyreek Johnson back. Brad Johnson, Keir Thomas and Aaron Sterling will be the seniors.

This guy knows nothing about Defensive Line play... Fact
