And that sport is women's basketball....

This is outdated and the gap might be more now, but we spend more than 25 million dollars every year on athletic expenses than Clemson and they are better than us in every major mens sport,

So sad what are athletic department has given the fans on gamedays, and they are now raising ticket prices?? What is going on behind the scenes.

Dude please...The football program is obviously in transition and rebuild...The men's basketball program is obviously on the rise..The Baseball program is beginning a show&tell season after Holbrook let it slip a bit(we will see if he rights the ship)...The Women's Basketball Program is built for the long haul and will continue it's dominance under Staley...Golf and Women's Soccer are on the rise...Track and Men's Soccer definitely need coaching changes..No need for extreme pessimism at USC...Patience with Football is needed to see if Muschamp get's it done...This season will tell us tons about the Holbrook tenure

Everybody hates price hikes but that's the way it is in business and face it college athletics is a business. The fans who used to could pay reasonable prices watch SEC Network or ESPN channels because they can't afford the expense anymore so up go the prices for the ones who can pay. They charge more because they can. It's all in the math. If the attendance falls they still have their butts covered because of the hiked ticket prices. It ain't about the fans it's about the bottom line.

NOT REPORTED:
Clemson's net revenue's have declined every year since 2001 due to:
  • Rising recruiting costs
  • Dramatic increases in player compensation
  • Player & family benefits (girlfriends included)
  • Practice field baptismal pools
  • Extracurricular stadium expenses (i.e. church services & prayer meetings)
  • Production costs for a new movie called ... "And All God's People Said ... Go Tigers"
  • Production costs for a sequel called ... "God Blesses Clemson ... And Nobody Else"
  • Championship parades

Well said.

3 major sports since 2010.
Baseball = 2NC , 1 runner up, 1 SEC title, 3 East titles.
Football= 1 east title, 4 bowl wins.
Basketball = 1 east title, 47 wins in the last 2 years. And our 1st NCAA tourney since 2004
Lady Basketball = 4 SEC and 3 tourney titles.

This has been our best 6, 7 years in school history.

Yes, but the trend is bending in the wrong direction the last three years. I know everyone is excited that Martin has breathed life back into the moribund basketball program (after taking over for a coach many of you defended to the bitter end), but the season is ending flat and next year will be a down season. And we can't beat our rival in anything. There's a reason the fans are worried and none too happy about forking out money to an athletic director that is financially clueless.

Ok, you hit the nail on the head. "Clemson" .......... a lot of people and me too are down because of losing the way we lost to them this year. 7 TD loss, winning the NC, lost in BB because our best player was suspended for whatever. And ofcourse sh____ing the bed last sunday. But, we will be in the NCAA and tbey wont make the NIT and we will see them again in baseball this year count on it.
