Forgive me. I am not a recruiting expert. I cant name you one player coming in next year. Do we have anyone that can replace Thornwell's offensive output? I am deeply concerned about us offensively when he leaves.
Thanks!
Not a doom and gloomer but honestly, This is not a very good team without Thornwell. You know this. Everyone knows this. Its a one man show and that man is gone after this season. I am very worried about having a bad offensive team next year.
I'm not a Marshall homer but people like this that bash a coach that loved Carolina makes no sense to me. If you don't think Marshall is a good coach, you are crazy.
The SEC is terrible this year in basketball. That helps his record a lot. The talent level has not improved (in my opinion) from last year to this year. We still depend on the same one person for scoring. The recruits on the bench appear to be average or worse. Next year will be a step back...
Just curious what he has done for our team........I love the Gamecocks but I love to field winning teams that compete for championships. I don't see that happening under Martin. I wish we had some bench depth but apparently, we don't. That's recruiting.
I don't know enough about it to argue with y'all and I don't want to disrespect anyone on here. It just seems like the bench players that Martin has recruited aren't very good besides Felder. Thornwell is really our only offensive producer besides Silva. Where will scoring come from next season...
He has not really done anything here yet. Just saying. This is what? His 5th or 6th year? Back to back 20 win seasons is a moral victory. NCAA tourney or bust is how most fans feel about it. I'm not as educated on sports as most people on here but I was really looking forward to a run in the...
I love Silva but he has to get his fouls under control. He makes too many bad decisions that lead to dumb fouls. Without him in the game, we appear to be lost from a big man standpoint. Are the other two big guys really that bad?
I cant blame you. This basketball meltdown is killing me. If we don't make it to the NCAA, I am off of the Martin bandwagon (lol, not that my opinion carries any weight).
