I was there. It was a downpour for a few minutes. The game should have been stopped for about 15-20 minutes to let the rain pass and repair the mound. No excuse why we lost. We should have scored more runs earlier in the game when we had chances.

Great movie! To think what was going thru the minds of those soldiers as they were approaching Omaha beach and then to all of a sudden start getting shot like that. It was a very sobering moment for me when that scene happened. I cry every time I see it.
