Market value. Beck got 4 million to transfer to Miami. Sellers rumors are 2.7 million. Crazy money on just potential. Players have all the leverage right now.

I would think this data is secret for a reason. What's to prevent jealousy among these young guys, who have never had the big bucks, playing out on the field? When you are a pro, you are taken care of by the team. But in college? This is one of those times when we don't know what we don't know.
I can imagine a lot of jealousy amongst teammates. But I think it's more of a "if we don't HAVE to disclose then we wont".
