--Steven Montac didn't travel with the team to Missouri. Will Muschamp said after the game the cornerback has a mid-foot sprain and thinks he'll be fine this week heading into Kentucky. Muschamp said: "It’s nothing that’s surgical, it’s nothing that’s going to be long-term. But when he gets sore he has a hard time planting and cutting.”

--South Carolina is 2-0 for the first time since 2012, when they started 6-0 before finishing 11-2 with an Outback Bowl win.

--Captains from last night: Deebo Samuel, T.J. Brunson, Alan Knott, Taylor Stallworth.

--Samuel is now 24th all-time with 81 career receptions. Hayden Hurst currently has the sixth-most career receiving yards by a tight end in school history.

--Joseph Charlton's 73-yard punt in the first quarter was the longest punt since 1992 when Marty Simpson kicked one 79-yards.

--Jake Bentley threw for 187 on 18-for-28 passing, finishing with a 132.2 passer rating. Over his first nine starts his average passer rating is 136.2. He's also completed 64.4 percent of his passes with 13 TDs and five picks.

--Brunson had six tackles last night, bringing his season total to a team-leading 22. If he keeps up this pace, he'd finish with 132 total tackles which is good for ninth-most in a single season at South Carolina.

--Saturday marked the fourth time under Muschamp the Gamecocks have been out gained but managed to win the game. Missouri picked up 423 total yards but only managed 13 points. So far this season, the Gamecocks are being out gained 927-605 but are outscoring opponents 66 to 41.
