This last 3 or so years everyone has been trying to figure out NIL. Who makes how much? Who is paying?
Well, it was all about donations from both companies and individuals. No one really knows who got what

All of that has now changed.
Starting this year, the university will actually be paying players. They say it will cost them about $20 million, but no word on how much each player will get. And the "better" players will still have NIL added to that stipend.
So many questions we will never know because of privacy law.
Sadly, I now know how SC plans to come up with the $20 million. The fee for my season seats went up $200 ea. There are several other seats that cost a lot more than mine, so they probably have even higher fees. I suppose Baseball and Basketball all went up too.
I love amateur football and I especially love going to Gamecock football at Willy B. But thanks to college kids demanding to be paid like the pros, it is getting hard for my budget to keep up.

Well my annual dues went up$200 this year. Afraid to see ticket prices. I've been saying for years I'm out the door just because its not worth it anymore. This year may actually do it. Hmm milk and eggs or some ungrateful sht that plays a sport.

Trump likes football, so hopefully he'll tackle the issue once he's done draining the swamp.

He's dealing with Gavin Newsom's slop in CA and he's also ready to revamp the Universities.

I'm certain he can deal with Gavin Newsom's slop as it relates to the NIL and unregulated college sports.

The problem with that $20 million is that most schools will have the same money. We won't actually gain any ground on any schools, except the few who give more to basketball.

Otherwise, those teams with high NIL budgets will have the same $20 million as us, and still have their NIL budget.

Thebonly good news is the string of high budget signers we had this year. We are one of the spenders now.
