And down go the TATERS!!!!!!!!

With Clemson, SMU and Indiana going down, believe it or not, we have a chance to finish in the Top 10 for the first time since the Spurrier years, IF we win our bowl. That will be huge for recruiting and pre-season ranking (which will impact our playoff chances).

I'm not sure that a Tennessee loss would drop them down far enough.

I don’t think that will move the needle for recruiting. It’s all about the dollars

If Ewers was just average they would have beaten Georgia easily.
Ewers is very good when not under pressure. Texas line is very good so that is often the case. He has the mobility of a sack of cement, so a consistent pass rush will destroy his effectiveness. Georgia has good pass rushers and dialed up pressure.

To be fair to Clemson, Klubnick is really good. Better than Beck at Georgia, Leonard at ND, Howard at Ohio State or Gabriel at Oregon. That masks some deficiencies in the rest of the Clemson team.

Might be my garnet glasess but I disagree. He had a good game against texas, but I think the qb's you listed all have a higher ceiling than Klubnick.

Klubnik threw for 280 yards, rushed for 60 and two TDs against our great defense. I think we're looking through our garnet glasses a bit too much if we want to pretend Cade isn't a great college QB.

Please don't take this as bragging on my part. I just want to inform you that I actually am a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of USC and contribute annually to them. I had no knowledge of that society/organization at the time (early 1970s) when I was offered membership. I had planned to ignore the letter of offer I got from them when I was told what they were and told I would be crazy to turn down/ignore the invitation. So, here I am: a longtime Phi Beta Kappa member.

He also literally cost them the game with a dumb int that at best cost them their last timeout for like 2 yards. The games I have seen him, if they were close is football iq is really low.
