Why does Bentley have so many balls knocked down? Any coaches with answers, not going down field enough or what?

We seem to get 3rd down and around 3 a lot. And most of the plays we call is for the WRs to go out 5 yards and turn around . And a lot of those passes get knocked down.

It’s a few things working together:

1) Play calling: short passes get knocked down more than long passes. That happens a lot when the run game isn’t working and short passes are serving as de facto runs.

2) OL: you’ve got to engage the DL and keep them from throwing their hands up.

3) Bentley: if you can’t see the 300lb man standing in your passing lane, you’re gonna have a long day.
