We were talking about it last night at dinner. I truly feel that forfeiting wouldn't look nearly as bad as the complete butt-whippin' we will receive in 2 weeks. It WILL be worse than 63-17. It is sad that it's gotten to this point. Apathy has officially set in. I'm going just for the tailgate.
Yeah reality has set in. We can't keep the clock running with no run game. And we cant keep their offense off the field if we're always at 3rd and long with no passing game. But like you I hope, I'm not going to let Muschamp ruin my day. Have fun tailgating! I'll be watching from home. My biggest hope is once we're down by 30, he rewards guys who have practiced hard all year but haven't played.

I can see your point. If we had seen any improvement whatsoever since the GA game or any reason to get behind them, I’d feel a lot different. This offensive unit has quit, the coaches have quit, and are all in CYA mode for greener pastures. That’s why we feel how we feel.
It isn't an excuse to talk about forfeiting games. No one thought SC would beat Georgia. Let Muschamp take his best shot against Clemson. He probably fails spectacularly and is fired this off season or next. Maybe he wins, admittedly a longshot. Still fun to try.
Would be cool if a fight breaks out and Clemson gets disqualified from the playoffs. It has happened before just not at that high a level.
wouldn't matter who the refs are if a fight takes place all participants are banned from the next game.
And I won't lose any sleep over it. Come Monday, you will still be back at work and I will still be retired and doing what I please in life.
I predict that with two weeks of rest and preparation that the Gamecocks will give Clemson some trouble. They might even win the game but I would not bet my money on that outcome.

I think Muschamp is thinking the same thing now...
He can brag he lost to Clemson 3-0 and make a plea to keep his job because is wasn't it wasn't a blow out..
I expect him to run up the score but leave himself enough time to clearly put on the breaks. Double insult.
I saw a lot of posts by Negative Nancies that beating Georgia was completely impossible. Basically saying the same things as are being said now about Clemson.
Not from me. Hell I hope we win but with our walking wounded I don’t see how. We are out of horses.
Somewhat agree, but what a statement it would make to the playoff committee if they beat their rival 84-0. He needs to avoid Ohio State in the first round of the playoffs.
How about this: Report that the entire team and coaching staff has come down with the flu and admit the entire team to the hospital. No one would expect the team to play under those circumstances.
