I don't think I've said a negative thing about our baseball team since Calvi was here... but it's become painfully obvious that if we don't hire a hitting coach, we'll never be as good as we could be. I would think that if Ray wants to keep Holbrook around, he'd highly suggest it.
LMAO, you admit being part of the "Fire Calvi" crowd...the pitching coach that helped Tanner win his 1st national championship...yet you expect anyone to respect your opinion about the current state of the program?

Sorry, but that's just too funny imo.

I'm pretty sure Ray knows what the problems with the program are, as his coach lets him know.
I was. And proud of it. Because I hated to see pitcher after pitcher incur shoulder and elbow injuries. And I hated to see guys like Cisco having only one good year of production then falling by the wayside. Calvi couldn't hold Meyer's jock.

Whether you respect my opinion or not makes no difference. What we've been doing is not working. This problem has been long term.

You think it's Calvi's fault pitchers got injured? You're an idiot, as has already been pointed out. You should stfu.

Sorry, but you do NOT "learn to manage" at Carolina's expense. Holbrook should have "learned to manage" at a Division II school before he was given the reigns of what most in the nation considered an elite program. We were the best, and we deserved the best. Our baseball program is NOT a place for coaches to "learn to manage."
Ray, the "learning to manage" comment was simple sarcasm.

Guys, Chad inherited a rebuilding project on par with horn and frank. He needs time.
You need to put the bong down, bro. Chad inherited a program that won back to back CWS titles and played in a 3rd. Sure, those teams weren't perfect and had flaws. But the team was able to overcome those weaknesses and get the job done.

As fans, why would we expect for the team to get worse every year since the CWS titles? I thought recruiting would improve and the weaknesses would be addressed. That has not happened and now even our pitching and defense aren't what they were. It's very disappointing.
