LOL...I know he can throw. He's also mobile. But...He also has played in AR systems....and with all that football knowledge you have I hope you can see that we run almost the antithesis of that offensive system currently personnel wise. I have seen a couple AR plays thrown in..just like I've seen several other mish-mashed staple plays thrown in our offense...but what he's leaving and coming to SYSTEM WISE....is like exiting a Ferrari and getting in a VW bug. Turn on the UT game vs. Carolina this year for quick reference.
We are a base 12 personnel team. You can make an argument for a Y or H in Air Raid to be a "TE type"....and it still works. But if you give an AR guy a choice between Cordarelle Patterson and Justice Cunningham to play "Y" OR "H"......100% of coaches are taking CP. You can talk about "Power Raid" if you want to...that's just the system's adjustment to everyone else catching up. It's flexible.

Maybe Watson can read yours until I get back to mine. He obviously hates good news. I never put too much into one player, but Watson only puts hope in players on other teams.

Everyone thought Todd Ellis was a “great passer.” He was one of my favorite players but he was a product of his high school and college run and gun offense. Great stats….but never led us from behind for a win. I always thought we had a chance to win with Todd, but reality is he through more pics than touchdowns almost. I understand the system analysis.
I have watched Rattler numerous times…..he can help us big time. Our O is not unlike many others…we just don’t execute. If you know of another better quarterback on campus, I’m all ears.
those links in my post somehow got into our conversation. Those were meant for Watson because he wanted proof that someone considered rattler a top prospect in the transfer portal. You asked for a list that had him at #1. It was provided.
You asked why Ewers wasn't on the list. You were provided with the answer.
Really don't care what you think about the lists. You're either going to find something wrong with what's presented to you or twist things around to suit your side or move the goalposts when proven wrong. It's what you do.
Those rankings have input from multiple people. The link you guys are quoting didn't even include the best transfer QB of all lol.
Any one can make a list for the article. With Rivals and 247 there are at least a couple people coming to a consensus to make it somewhat legitimate.
Yet we won 6 games. Very few predicted that. We won games we weren’t supposed to and didn’t lose a game we were favored in. Some people ONLY see the negative.

I find it interesting that others claim to be happy but then are making up things. So he went from being alleged to be the #1 transfer prospect, to the #1 transfer qb, to the #2 transfer qb if you add in Ewers...

Yes....Greensboro Page was one of the early Run n Shoot offenses around in HS.
I didn't say we had a better one...or that Rattler sucks. But, he is going to be in a non-explosive offense....without question. Will it be more dynamic than this year? It has to be...but it won't be a 42 PPG avg. offense with 534 yards per game...unless they go full AR.

Purposely disregard winning 6 games? I'm elated we won 6 games. Hopefully there will be 6 teams in as dire shape as those teams we beat this year; those teams including 2 that got rid of their coaches, one that had a rookie SEC coach with his best offensive players out and discontent on the team. All that is reality. It doesn't mean I don't acknowledge or enjoy the 6 wins...it just means I know playing in the SEC it is unlikely that kind of luck happens two years in a row. If you are a Carolina fan before Dec. 2020....you know this.
