I'm negative as can be but if this actually pans out there's really not much more Shane could have did when you consider the last few years. I tip my hat to him. He's exceeding my expectations as far as recruiting. Hopefully, the coaching gets better and they get the players to give it their all.

It's not a guarantee of future success, no one claimed it was, but it's reason to be excited unless you're dead set on not giving Beamer credit.

People did tell you Beamer can recruit, and that the told you so. You're being disengenuous by saying we are making more of this than it is, a major recruiting win that upgrades or QB room and gives us one of the best QBs in the SEC next season. Everyone had been saying "now we need to pick up a receiver or two and get some OL" because no one thinks a QB is all we need, you however keep mitigating what is a huge win for the university by saying it's "Beamer's best recruit so far" instead of, "this is the biggest QB recruit we've had since the star system was introduced by sites like this one"

Recruiting going from 79 to top 15 in a year is a pretty good indicator as well. 😁

We're going to need some actual proof on the recruiting trail. While Spencer is a high profile transfer, our actual recruiting class is worse than what Muschamp typically recruited. If you want to claim Beamer is going to be an elite recruiter, he's going to have to do it on that level.
Right now you're jumping to some big conclusions about backups transferring from Oklahoma. Will these guys be Joe Burrows or will they be Tavien Feasters?
