Doubt it. I actually tweeted Joe Lunardi 2 days ago and asked what he thouhht it would take for us to get into NIT and he said make it to the conference finals would def. Get us is make it to semis could possibly do it... I know he probably pays more attention to the Big dance but he knows his stuff... So I tend to think we need 1 more! let's go get it

Nope, top 4 seeded teams get byes until Friday. They were seeded 3rd.

Sorry, you will not get into the NIT with a barely above .500 record. Most teams invited have 20 wins or close to that number. The NCAA runs the NIT now and their first mission is to put those teams that had good records, but lost in their conference tournament in first. (Mostly mid-majors)

Thought I saw an article not too long ago that said no sec team w less than 18 wins has made the nit recently so we at least need to beat GA to hit 18
