Blackshear got arrested

LOL. players don't get second chances anymore? Okay. Whatever. Just don't have G.A. Mangus be the one to tell him. lol. I say let him go to prep school, do his community service. Let him show he has learned his lesson and matured and if he done everything he is supposed to let him enroll with the next class.

Let him find another school to attend, there are plenty out there that would take him
Doubtful that they yank his scholarship. He'll be on thin ice, but that's about it. He'll redshirt next year and have a misdemeanor with PTI and restitution.

that's to bad, if you end up correct.. once you are a thief and get caught, odds are, its probably not your first, its just the first time you got caught

AMEN. When you stop taking these kids is the time when kids will understand you can't be a gamecock if you act like that. But as long as we keep putting up with it, the more our reputation will continue as it is now....plain pitiful that if he is found guilty (which he will be...trust me) that we say, c'mon, if you're just a first-timer, we'll take you till you do a Garcia and do it, what...5 times? Thanks Spurrier for that one too.
PATHETICALLY STUPID COMMENT. Facts don't play into your line of reasoning at all- first you assume not only that he will be convicted of a crime he hasn't been convicted of yet, you also assume we will accept him once he is- which also is not decided yet. Additionally there are recent incidents from the last few years for both basketball and football where we cut ties with signed athletes who were charged/ convicted of crimes before enrolling here and THREE OUT OF THE LAST FOUR WERE NOT ALLOWED TO ATTEND SCHOOL HERE. Only Vic Hampton was allowed to attend and all he had been accused of was a very minor alcohol related offense.. All that doesn't even include the multiple examples of guys who were already on the team and kicked out of school after getting in trouble, so basically your whole rant references ONE EXAMPLE and ignores the rest of our history of dealing harshly with similar trouble? I smell a rotting stinking AGENDA or someone incapable of understanding facts.
The dude was caught red-handed. He's not going to plead innocent, claime he was framed, come up with some good excuse for leaving someone's house with their purse and their safe. He's either going to go through PTI or plead guilty. Let's be real here.

Wait... How does you comment even relate to mine? Nowhere in what I said did comment on whether he was guilty or not! I was speaking to the previous person's comments implying we have some history of putting up with trouble makers when we DO NOT. We are actually a lot more strict than most of the schools in our conference. Other than the ONE EXAMPLE everyone likes to point to- Garcia- who was such a dangerous criminal convicted of scratching cars, drinking and pulling fire alarms (how did he avoid lengthy prison sentences for such heinous crimes?).... We have traditionally gotten rid of trouble makers pretty fast around here! As for "being real here"... I WAS being real, and am kind of confused what you read before making your post and what you were replying to.

Basically, pointing out that the guy was caught red handed so whether he is convicted or not, which he probably won't be since he will probably go through PTI, doesn't really matter at all. I was trying to keep the topic focused. This issue is about Shameik Blackshear. It's not about Garcia, or Victor Hampton, or anyone else. They are all unique cases so there is no reason to be bringing their names up in this thread.

Okay, so now you are accusing the guy of committing crimes in your imagination? This is starting to get ridiculous. Thankfully, you don't make admission decisions for USC.

I tell Red... Lets put a chalkboard up, draw a line down the middle and see how many people have called you out on this board for being ridiculous .. I choose my words carefully

People may think what I post is ridiculous about sports, because my expectations for some teams are not the same as theirs or because they care as much, or they are a sunshine pumper and I am not is one thing. But accusing a guy you don't know at all of mysterious crimes that "may or not have happened" from nothing but your own twisted imagination is friggin looney toons material. Oh yeah, one more thing. The Red Sox suck. lol.

Absolutely! Bosoxcocks seems like he wants the veto power. He's telling the University what to do as if there is no need for anyone to deliberate about it. Bosoxcocks has spoken. Case closed.

Were there any rednecks involved? Did the alleged victims have a heavy farmer's tan? If so, this whole thing could be another klemsin conspiracy..........

The people in power at the university just called me to see if I were sure that's what I wanted to happen, they agreed with me that it was in best interest of the university, they just wanted to be sure... I told them ,do it, but please don't let Gamecock Lifer know I said so...... he scares me..

Oh okay, my bad. I'll just look forward to tomorrow's announcement of your mutual decision after your collaborative discussion concerning Blackshear's fate. Got the reminder on my phone all set up.

That is funny.. Your "burn him at the stake" attitude is much more scary to me than anything I have said to you. If the conviction I am showing in what I say is scaring you, I think it is a reflection on how sad and weak you know your own stance is Bosox.

Fortunately posters like rooster and others have no more authority over University decisions than I have, which is absolutely. Their pontificating is obnoxious but goes no further. this case will play out like hundreds of others involving college athletics across the country. Time will tell and I'm glad cooler heads will decide what the consequences will be for this kid.
