Boom just offered Kyle Ford. (Hilinski Teammate)

Right, they love that intolerance to liberal politics! Lay it on thick and show them how we do it down south!

Ridiculous....I assume they have already discovered that people think different things. They are not aliens...they just come from a different state. Damn if being critical of other states is a danger to recruiting then we better go back and scrub all the shit we talk about Georgia, Florida and Tennessee...oh and North Carolina can bring us up on war crimes.

Still the largest economy in the US by far. 25% of the GDP of the US comes out of California....that is more than the next five states....combined. It is a beautiful state, fiscally strong, top universities, friendly people...and they still have people moving there. Great place to live and visit. Politics is like the weather....it changes.

Hilo ski is a 3* recruit according to Rivals. I hope we get something major from his recruitment.
You didnt read where he will be bumped to a 4 star at the next update? Yes he will and you can watch and see what talent this kid has. I cant recall a kid with a stronger arm. Watch his film

What kind of question is that? His rankings are kinda self explanatory.
Let me try to explain, if you will. There are a lot of highly rated receivers that are just hoping to get a tater offer. If he's one of those, then he will not have the inbred hatred of the taters. Being from the west coast, the tater game will be no different to him than Citadel game. Recruits should all be asked 3 questions: #1 What is your favorite color? #2 Do you hate taters? #3 Do you go to bed at night just hoping to get offer from fat Bradster's son? If the answer to #1 is orange, strike him. If the answer to #2 is no, strike him. If the answer to #3 is yes, curse his momma and Dablo, then move on. I know its a simple philosophy but it works.

Also, another thing to think of...

California has travel ban in place and schools are missing out in Bowls and other NCAA play off's..

The travel ban *only* affects state government, state universities and other publicly funded institutions. I can't think of too many private colleges in Cal other than Southern Cal.

Stanford, Caltech, Pepperdine, San Diego, Loyola, Pacific....quite a few others.

Yes it is beautiful....but the trend is the opposite of what you are projecting. It was a much stronger economy..and the education and living satisfaction has been rated higher than it is now. You know Guyana has been sold as a beautiful place to live...not always the reality once there though.

I agree Niagra Falls was absolutely beautiful, likewise the Grand Canyon.

only 2 top 250 level players in SC this cycle... :-(
We got to get more somewhere else... Dang!

Thanks for mentioning Stanford and Pepperdine, brainfart on my part. What university in San Diego were you thinking of? While not part of the UC system, San Diego State is a state university, same as Fresno and San Francisco.

University of San Diego is private. Think it was Jim Harbaugh's first head coaching job.

"The state of California simply, well, how do I say this..........SUX."

California is both 3 hours behind, and 20 years ahead of TN, NC, and SC dude. Grow up.

Are you a fruitcake?

Absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. Northern California, the whole North Pacific, is just gorgeous. When I drove into Sequoia National Forest, I could have set up a tent and never left.

As thousands have done already from San Francisco to San Diego. Big beautiful tent cities. There's nothing like the sweet smell of human waste in the air in the morning.

$2,847.6 billion in gross state product with a growth rate that's third in the country, behind only Oregon and Washington..
Also, $427 Billion in debt. They are ahead of everybody in that category. Not to mention 4 million people on food stamps, and 840,000 unemployed.

They are ahead of everyone in every category. Look at their freakin' population. And they also have the economy to handle that debt.....and frankly produce by far the largest amount of the US economy. By themselves, they are the 5th largest economy in the world. Texas, New York, Florida can't touch them......combined. They dwarf all of the southern US combined. People who hate on Cali just don't get it.

My daughter lives there. It's horrible. She is counting the days when she moves back here (June). And she is not alone. California is averaging a net loss of 145,000 middle class citizens per year. It is among the highest taxed and most over regulated states in the country. The debt is exploding faster than the economy is growing and with their welfare state, they are well on their way to becoming a third world state. Sounds like a great place to me.

Why do all the fruitcakes get offended when somebody refers to California as a bunch of fruitcakes.I thought California promoted fruitcakeness. What's the big deal?

To each his own, I guess. Have several friends and family who live there from San Diego to the wine country. I had a place near South Lake Tahoe for about 5 years....just couldn't get out to it enough to enjoy it. Every 10-15 so years, another group comes out to proclaim "California is failing", yet they continue to grow and persevere. Just because you don't like their politics, doesn't mean they are going to hell in a handbasket.

That makes absolutely no sense.. If their economy is what you say it is, why do they have the oppressive debt?? It the quintessential story of socialism... You always run out of other people's money... California is a welfare state failing faster than all the others

Whether I like, or don't like their politics, will not keep them from going to hell in a handbasket. They elect foolish reps, and their leadership will take them there.
