do not agree. They are about to steal K. Smart right under from us. I think WE probably pushed out Richt since we are on Smart's radar...so UGA made a move to secure him. Some preliminary stuff coming out is KS with Muschamp as DC. SMH....good god. For those who didn't want Smart....remember this past week.
UGa firing of Mark Richt is a gut punch to USC's coaching search. UGa is better job and has better players on the roster with an excellent recruiting class coming in. If you are a head coaching candidate for USC and the UGa job came open, wouldn't you put your name in the hat for that one? If nothing else , it will push the price up. This will delay USC's search because coaches are going to slow play it until the smoke clears a little on the best jobs out there.
Well they cant take both Herman and Smart so not worried. Both programs are waiting until after this weekend for the conf championships.
Smart is a good hire for USC. It's a stupid hire for UGA. USC has to take chances, much like Clemson did with Dabo. UGA is a big enough program that they shouldn't have to take a chance on a guy that hasn't ever been a head coach. Also, they already had a good head coach. We don't. This reminds me of Tennessee from about 10 years ago.

Agreed. This means the next guy has to win 10 games or better every season, and win a title within 5 years or his ass gets fired too. Richt may get the last laugh on them.
