NC State, which had nation's softest non-conference schedule, is mad it missed NCAA tournament

Just thought I'd ask. It seems that "Outta Conference Strength of Sched." can/does indeed play apart - at least to some extent anyway! But STILL, I dont recall OUR non-conference sched being ranked 353 outta 353!!

Gamecocks had a better overall record (24 wins vs NC State's 22 wins) and a better conference record (11-7 vs 9-9). Granted, the ACC is a more highly-rated conference, but I think USC's argument was stronger than State's. Of course, I am biased.

State has a much better basketball reputation and legacy with two national championships and more consistent success, so I am surprised they didn't get the benefit of the doubt.
