Why do they use yellow foul poles and yellow top of the fence line with yellow softballs? In baseball there’s a contrast between the yellow and the white baseball that umpires can see easier. Guess maybe with the smaller park it’s not an issue?

Should be a rule against pitchers wearing yellow. Oregon comes to mind. At other levels, you can't wear yellow socks and the like. Too easy for batters to lose the ball.

Hmmmm, good question. Never thought about that. Will be interesting to see what the answer is from someone who knows.
