I worked for a company based in Tupelo, Mississippi for 20 years (spent a LOT of time there) and I’ve never heard anyone call it the Sip. Just saying.

Maybe it’s exaggerated, but I’ve driven through there the last few years on many roads in the northern half of the state. Seen billboards and heard local radio mention it. It’s obviously a new phrase.
