Kentucky: Defensive coordinator Matt House has indeed left for the linebackers job with the Kansas City Chiefs. This after it was reported House was leaving, then not leaving. The Chiefs will pay a $150,000 buyout to Kentucky. Head coach Mark Stoops tells Kentucky Sports Radio he will consider his brother Mike for the job. Bob Stoops said last week that Mike would not join him in the XFL and that Mike wanted to stay at the college level.

Ole Miss: Defensive backs coach Jason Jones has been dismissed, according to multiple reports.

Florida International
: Defensive coordinator Brent Guy has stepped down to deal with “personal responsibilities,” the school has announced.

North Texas: Eastern Washington offensive coordinator Bodie Reeder will join the North Texas staff as offensive coordinator, according to the Denton Record-Chronicle, which adds that pass game coordinator Tommy Mainord will be promoted to co-offensive coordinator.

Northern Illinois: Eisenhower High School (Ill.) head coach Travis Moore has joined NIU as defensive ends coach, and former Liberty defensive backs coach Aaron Wilkins has joined NIU as cornerbacks coach, completing Thomas Hammock’s defensive staff.

Cincinnati: Chad Wilt’s title at Cincinnati is defensive line coach. Wilt spent the last three years as Army’s defensive line coach.

Furman: Outside linebackers coach Duane Vaughn has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

Coastal Carolina: Furman defensive coordinator Chad Staggs has joined the Coastal Carolina staff as linebackers coach.

West Virginia: Georgia State offensive coordinator Travis Trickett has joined the WVU staff as an offensive assistant. Trickett spent two years at Georgia State and was previously the offensive coordinator at FAU and Samford.

Tulsa: Defensive quality control assistant Luke Olson has been promoted to nickels / safeties coach. Olson has been on staff for the past seven years.

Miami (Ohio): NC State quality control assistant Doug Shearer has been named special teams coordinator at Miami. Shearer had been at NC State since 2014.

Oregon: Penn State assistant director of player personnel Kenny Sanders has joined Oregon as director of recruiting.
