Given these are ballot boxes that Republicans in Washington State fought against, I have my doubts that a Democrat supporter was trying to damage it.

Interesting take by Bezos. Sounds like he understands the publication was supposed to be for the public but believes journalists have reduced it to talking to each other within their little club. Just the recognition of that is a positive move.
I'm happy to see him pivoting and putting some conversatives on staff. The Washington Post has been a train-wreck the last 4-years and he knows it.
With that said, Bezos obviously has the largest marketplace in the world and I'm sure he has to hedge his bets on which side to pick in terms of business versus any personal political stance. However, he does seem to come across as more of a conversative in non-election year interviews -- especially from an economic standpoint.
If Trump gets in, Amazon is going to be completely disrupted with the proposed tariffs and all of the China-based products on their site.
