Dawn being Dawn at ESPYs

On a lighter note, did you know that the grandson of the 10th President of the United States is STILL ALIVE? John Tyler was President from 1841-1845. His grandson Harrison Ruffin Tyler is now 96 and still kickin'.

Just thought it was crazy that a pre-civil war President's grandson still alive. I mean, his grandpa, his dad's dad, was 5 President BEFORE Abraham Lincoln.

That is so freakin’ AWESOME. He is a superb military analyst. Superb pick by President Trump!

Absolutely. And what a true patriot Hegseth is to give up his cushy $5 million a year job at Fox News to take a $250k salary to impose the change that is needed. And put up with all the leftist shit that will be hurled at him. Not a lot of folks would do that. Hopefully he is setting up a run for President one day. He would make a great one.

Proof you guys don't actually want to cut spending.

Correct.

I have no idea if the Dept of Education is needed in its current form. But even if the "agency" goes way, the functions will simply be switched around to other agencies.

One of Trump's supposed candidates for the job is the guy in Oklahoma who says he wants the bible taught in every classroom. LOL (Presumably even by teachers that don't follow the bible). Even schools in Oklahoma have been ignoring him (without any repercussions)

Agreed it is unlikely. And that's fine. Lets get everyone on record and see where everyone stands.

I don't think that will cut along party lines. Lots of rural, agricultural states will want to count everyone, not just citizens.

and a constitutional amendment passing isn't going to happen.

I think we should put our money on people like Elon and Vivek to sort this out.

They have a pretty good track record to date and aren't of the ancient bureaucratic mindset.

More Troll?

Betsy and yourself apparently can't see that they are inexplicably linked.

The new administration is doing both and will also produce far better solutions on the backend.

Hold Tight.

You don't even understand how government money is spent.

So they're just going to tell you it's being spent better and you're going to believe it.

Wasn't it you that said Trump getting the popular vote wasn't going to happen? How did that work out? As I said though, I doubt it would happen. As for the rural vote, I think it would be an interesting vote in many states. For example a lot of blue states like california had an increase in the number of red counties unlike we have seen in a very long time. Will their reps want a larger voice coming from their states suburban areas? As I said, lets see where they stand... on record. Us as the people should know.

I don't know what I said about the popular vote. I know I said Trump didn't win it in 2016. But that has nothing to do with this issue.

First, there aren't enough Senators that want to do this in the Senate to approve an amendment to the constitution. Second, the next census is in 2030 so this issue is not really an issue at all right now.

You can support whatever you want to support but it's not going to happen. There isn't even a .0001% chance because there is a built-in disincentive for many states to do such a thing which would decrease their representation in Congress- something there is no reason for them to support. Such a thing could even hurt states like South Carolina, something that not more than 3-4 elected members in the state legislature is interested in doing.

SCOTUS didn't even allow a citizenship question on the 2020 census so we are 10 trillion miles from passing it through Congress (would never happen), and then getting it approved in the states (impossible)

The New Transparent Voter ID System should end most of the controversy anyway.

The Swing State madness is about to come to a close.

Over 84% of Americans have stated they want this.

Each additional person hired by the U.S. government creates an exponential cost to the taxpayer. The Department of Education could stand at least a 50 percent reduction of personnel. I say return education to the states.

Then why not have the states fund their own education?

Do you think Russia and China care about "classy" on their frontlines -- and probably anywhere in their military?

They care about it about as much as they do about climate change politics.

We witnessed our effective women were in action when Trump got shot.

Secret Service should also be the best of the best.

Priceless.

It's crystal clear that most everyone including the tech companies, newspapers, judicial system, etc. were sacred to death to cross the corrupt totalitarian regime which operated under Biden.

America decided they were done with it.

Smooth transition is the way it should always be. That's America. I did not vote for Trump. BUT, I, for one, am pulling strongly for him to succeed. I have stated that I believe we will have a debt crisis in 2 years, possibly 4, but more likely 2, because I am skeptical that the debt will be significantly cut. There are too many "special interests" who benefit from the spending. I hope it is cut because in a debt crisis, we all will be hurt. So, I am pulling for President-elect Trump. We all should.

Once again, what I said was I would like it to happen. I also said it is not likely to happen. I never once said it would pass. What I said was holding a vote to change it and see where we stand would it be good regardless. I dont know how much clearer I can be.

So, Mr. WEF! Please explain to us how Ukrainian money goes to Columbia, SC. I would love to hear.

I've already explained it. 90% of the "money" we give to the Ukraine is in the form of weapons. Where do you think those weapons are built? They're built in places like Columbia, SC.

We aren't just giving Ukraine billions of dollars that they can spend however they want. We're giving them products and the money to pay for those products are going into more than 31 states across the country where those products are built.

For an analogy that's easy to understand. Say you have a 15-year-old son. You pay him $30 to cut your 82 year old neighbors grass. Yeah you just gave your neighbor $30 in aid. But your son is the one who benefited from the cash you spent.

No, the real analogy is that you have a 15 year old son. You took $30 from other people and paid him $30 to cut your 82 year old neighbors grass and acted like you did them a favor. Your son benefitted from other people's money, not your own.

Sound familiar?

Your analogy is perfect at showing you still missed the point.

Aren't you afraid of fighting Russia or China so why would it even matter what our military consist of if you're afraid to fight?
Neither Russia nor China want to fight the U.S. in any way under a Trump presidency. Biden is too ignorant to see China’s ballons floating across the U.S. as a threat. Makes one wonder if he isn’t on the China payroll.

Please DO NOT tell me you’re trying to say Palmetto State Armory are making rifles for Ukraine. HAHAHAHA
