Why is the defensive coordinator getting a pass ? The run defense has been bad all year with numerous 5 star lineman ? Auburn gutted them but just abandoned the run for the whole 4th quarter but Clemson was way better prepared and they Stuck with it. White should be just as much to blame as Satterfield !

Hell, if wasn’t for our defense, it could’ve been worse! If the offense could’ve helped out just a little bit, it wouldn’t been as bad!!

They gave up 364 total yards. Auburn had more. 3-12 on 3rd down conversions. Only had the ball 3 minutes more than we did. Although not great. Hardly the problem last night

The rebuild on D was impressive. We lost our best lb to the draft then our next best one early in the season. Our secondary was decimated from the draft and transfers. Not to mention having to make up for one of the worst offenses in college football.

We are 44th in Total Defense and 47th in Scoring Defense. We are tied for 6th in scoring defensive TDs. We are tied at 32nd for fumbles recovered, tied at 6th for intercepting passes and tied at 11th for total turnovers gained. There are 130 teams in our collegiate football division. Do we really want to complain about the defense? Can you imagine if our offense performed at that level? If only.....................

In case anyone is wondering, our offense is ranked at number 116 in Total Offense. Looks to me that the criticism of Satterfield is warranted.

Not sure I would call 2 five stars "numerous" and Burch was a private school kid who shouldn't have been a 5 star. Honestly the D never stood a chance with an offense that couldn't move the ball or stay on the field.

We gave up 14 short-field points last night and one lengthy field goal. We forced them into settling for another shorter field goal, and we scored nothing. The defense didn't lose us the game last night. On the other hand, they could have given up 29 fewer points and we would have lost anyway.

Defense wasn’t the issue. As noted before, we were already weak at LB starting the season, then lost Greene. Our D Backfield was essentially cobbled together with portal guys and a former walk on from Gardner Webb.

There’s a reason why our DC has been nominated for the Broyles Award multiple times.

Going to be lots of Asst Coaches moving around with all of the HBC firings. It’d be nice to nab a good OC, while at the same time keeping Lindsey, Stepp, and Gray.
