I can't celebrate Will Wade winning anything.
I don't pull for Clemson though. But I do like Brad Brownell. He's one of the good guys in the business.

Sad that this is all we have to celebrate. Yeah, Clemson choked hard but at least they made it to the dance. We were the ugly, homely, loner, anti-social chick that lurked on the fringes. Not much solace in that really.
That's not all we have to celebrate. We did beat them in basketball. And they did make it, and then embarrass themselves. And Clemson embarrassing themselves is always worth celebrating.
I guess so if you squint really hard, that could be worth it....Nah, sucking is sucking and another team getting punked, even if its Clemson can't make up for that.
We might have sucked, but we still beat their ass. Them going to the tourney and proving they didn't belong was just icing on the cake.

Ahh the old Gamecock staple of the moral victory. Guess I want more like an above .500 season to celebrate and even that a'int exactly aiming high. Or maybe winning just one SEC baseball series this season, that would be great too.
The tournament has not been exciting as years past. Not many close games, few true upsets. I guess the big money teams have bought most of the good players. The women’s bracket appears to be worse. Average margin in first round was about 26 points. Looking at just the scores, are there more than 4-5 good teams in the country?
I don't disagree at all that money is ruining college sports.
It hasn't been as exciting.
I also wish there was only CBS and maybe TNT covering the games. I sort of miss back in the day where they'd do the "look ins" with closer games. But I know that's long over.
They need to just do away with "College Sports" call it The Minor leagues for The Professional franchises. That is exactly what it is..
