We’ll, I ain’t gonna cry about it………just sayin’.Roesthilisberger, Rodgers and Brady all go down. Will either
play again?
Yep. Rams gave him every chance and he brought it back to a tie(with Succop PAT).I think that the Old Man did about all he could do today.
Rodgers will. He will look for a competitive team like Brady did. I think he definitely wants out of the Bay.Roesthilisberger, Rodgers and Brady all go down. Will either
play again?
I saw someone post a meme saying this would be Roesthilisberger after a year of retirement.Roesthilisberger, Rodgers and Brady all go down. Will either
play again?
I think next year's Tampa will look a little different. Some guys will take better deals elsewhere, and Bowles (and possibly Lefwich) may be gone.Rodgers will play for sure - if just to annoy people. Big Ben, I think he hangs them up. Brady? I mean, he can make the Super Bowl with the Bucs. Is there another team that’s even more ripe and just needs a QB?
It reminds me a little of Jordan coming back to play for the Wizards. I know why he did it but thankfully it won't be what people remember about him.The last game does nothing at all to tarnish Brady’s legacy. But, just goes so show how hard it is to go out on top. Does Brady resist the urge to keep chasing the last ring? If anyone can do it at his age, it’s him. But as is often said, time always wins. Always.
Especially when you pass up the last 7 or so opportunities to go out on top. LolThe last game does nothing at all to tarnish Brady’s legacy. But, just goes so show how hard it is to go out on top.
It was only somewhat painful to watch Jordan those two years, just because of how good he had been last time we saw him. He initially went out as on top as you could be, winning a 3rd title in a row and leading the league in scoring each of those seasons. He came back as just a pretty good player, still averaging a touch over 20 ppg, which is remarkable that he could come back at that age after a 3 year hiatus and still put up 20 ppg against guys half his age. But, the Wizards were nowhere near championship caliber and he was just coming back bc he wanted to play. If he’d been chasing a ring, it would have been kind of sad to see, but he was just playing for fun at that point. But you are correct, that the Wizards years are not what people remember. He wasn’t an aging veteran with no titles trying desperately to win one. He was just having fun.It reminds me a little of Jordan coming back to play for the Wizards. I know why he did it but thankfully it won't be what people remember about him.
He had arguably his best season ever this season. Why wouldn’t he want people remembering him like that?It reminds me a little of Jordan coming back to play for the Wizards. I know why he did it but thankfully it won't be what people remember about him.
People equate him with super bowl championships. That's all I was saying. It wasn't a comprehensive analogy. He had arguably his best season ever this season. Why wouldn’t he want people remembering him like that?
