*Yes the UGA coaching position has opened up and many of the signs seem to be pointing to either Smart or Herman being the guy- our two targets- both of which would easily take the UGA job over ours
* There have been many reports that Herman is not interested in us any longer, leaving us with Smart IF (big if) we can get him
*We've gone from number four in the nation two years ago to celebrating a five point loss to Clemson in a season we went 3-9 and 1-7 in the SEC.
*This is the most important hire in school history... We either Contunie being a program that's on the upswing and can compete with the big boys, or we take a sharp downward turn back into permanent mediocrity - needing 20 years to play catch up
* There are many schools who are in need of a head coach many of which are considered better jobs then ours- Georgia, USC, Miami consisted by some and our canidate pool is shrinking by the minute
*Mark Richt the one big name proven coach whose still only 55 is most likely going to Miami
*theres a strong possibility we will whiff on Smart and Herman, knocking our two top targets off the list- and Fuente our third choice is already gone.
