Agree, won a regional last year, lost it this year. Even a sunshine pumper can see a clear trend of regression at CoC.C of C regressed

CofC has also won twice as many tournament games over the last two years as Carolina and Clemson combined. CofC led the country in home runs this year too. What was our team batting average again? Worst in over 40 years.
C'mon man, don't talk facts around here. Only sarcasm is allowed.CofC has also won twice as many tournament games over the last two years as Carolina and Clemson combined. CofC led the country in home runs this year too. What was our team batting average again? Worst in over 40 years.
That is actually pretty shocking.CofC has also won twice as many tournament games over the last two years as Carolina and Clemson combined. CofC led the country in home runs this year too. What was our team batting average again? Worst in over 40 years.
You guys are way too easy.CofC has also won twice as many tournament games over the last two years as Carolina and Clemson combined. CofC led the country in home runs this year too. What was our team batting average again? Worst in over 40 years.
And despite that, Monte Lee managed to lose two out of three to Chad Holbrook.CofC has also won twice as many tournament games over the last two years as Carolina and Clemson combined. CofC led the country in home runs this year too. What was our team batting average again? Worst in over 40 years.
Hit a lot of homers in the Regional too against better pitching.CofC plays in a weak league. hits lots of homers. Like Clemson playing in the a-she-she.
I can promise you, Monte is not happy about losing to Florida St. His expectations are just as high as Gamecock fans even though they may not have the history Carolina does.Expectations much much higher at USC. We've won national championships, been to Omaha 11 times, boatload of ncaa tournaments. Getting to a regional is a great season for CofC, we expect more.
How'd he do against PC and the other instate schools? And despite that, Monte Lee managed to lose two out of three to Chad Holbrook.

It's ok if you want to be a sunshine pumper Monte Lee.I’m glad we beat them but I’m not the one mocking them for losing in the NCAA tournament when we didn’t even qualify.

I'm speaking for myself, but, I think it goes for the others mocking the haters in this thread, when I say that Lee would excellent choice for our next head coach if the position ever comes open. But, don't confuse who the target of this mocking is. It isn't Lee. Look in the mirror if you need help in figuring out who is being mocked.
Posters like yourself were saying we had regressed in 2009. Well, we were national champs the next year....lol. No, going from National runners up to out of the tournament in 3 years is real regression. Fewer and fewer good players on the team every year is real regression. Sorry if some can't tell what real regression is.
No one said we regressed in 2009. We lost our closer, and that's why we lost the regional that year.Posters like yourself were saying we had regressed in 2009. Well, we were national champs the next year....
Perhaps you should educate yourself and learn what sarcasm is and what real regression is. You're just showing you're not the smartest person in the thread with comments like that.
That year we a had good team loaded with good players and had a disappointing year. That is NOT what is going on right now. We have terrible players. Your are talking about a situation where were one the top 16-32 teams in the country when we aren't even one of the top 64 teams this year. This team completely sucks now and if you think we have ANY chance to make a run to Omaha in the next few years you'd have to be an idiot. We are not talking 2 seed in regional bad here. This not a speed bump tripping some giant. Holbrook has made us the "little guy." Holbrook has pulled a Darrin Horn on us. There is absolutely not difference in the situations. If you can't understand this you are lost.Posters like yourself were saying we had regressed in 2009. Well, we were national champs the next year....
