Game Thread: Gamecocks vs. Illinois

You gotta get a touchdown on this drive, and I think you should be in four down territory. I just don't think you can trust your defense to get you the ball back.

McCray was nearly tackled in the backfield by O'Donnell Fortune, but he escapes and scampers into the endzone. Heck of a drive by Illinois. 7:27 of game clock, 12 plays, 75 yards. It's 21-17 Illini now with 7:29 to go

Hope it’s just anxiety but I have a feeling someone is about to make a big pressure mistake and that’s going to determine the game. Hopefully we march and score and Illinois makes the mistake.

Sellers to Simon for a gain of 24, and the Gamecocks are over midfield.

Illinois team playing “injury” garbage is classless. Letting defense get their wind. (Thread reply)
I can almost guarantee you win or lose that Shane will say something about this in post-game like Ole Miss. He's pretty upset on the sidelines right now.

If the ncaa would make a rule that an injured player has to sit out for three plays it would stop all this bs

Holy cow. Selllers had Simon in the end zone. Pass was a little low and behind him. It was there. Just off.

Third-and-2 for Illinois coming up after the two-minute warning. Pretty much the game here.

Gamecocks don't fit the run, McCray goes for 60 and South Carolina is on life support.
