We are spoiled to the point where with 2 weeks left in the SEC season- we are tied for 1st and there are a couple on here that believe she isn't focused and hasn't done a good job- and should shut up

of course, if they agreed with her political views, they'd take the exact opposite view just like they did with Mike Leach who they loved "not giving a damn what anyone thinks about what he says"

They are hypocrites- because

Dawn Staley truly doesn't give a DAMN what anyone thinks about her opinion- which is exactly how she should feel- just like Mike Leach approached it.

I don't disagree with anything you say. My worry is that ever since they finished the "gaunlet" run (beating 5 Top 20 teams in a row, most by double digits), they seem to have lost their mojo, passion, execution, intensity, etc. You could see it even against some of the lesser teams. I thought they would respond to the loss to Texas like they did to the one against UCLA, but alas other than pummeling a really bad Gaturd team, they haven't. The reason why Tessa, Pao Pao a nd Raven can't hit as many wide open shots as they did last year is also a great puzzler. I don't love Dawn's politics either but that's not where my concern comes from. A couple of weeks ago, this team looked like a juggernaut and now it doesn't. She is making a whole lot of money and she is open to legitimate questioning for that very reason. Maybe they will find that mojo again. I certainly hope so.

Watkins being gone is really hurting with some of the better teams. That's a major part of the team sitting on the bench. She just brings so much athleticism and defense inside and her leadership not being there hurts.

It's at this point in the season that if often can show up.

I don't think this is a top 2-3 team. But you don't have to be to go a long way. Is stinks if they don't go to the final four, but if the law of averages works at all, it shouldn't shock that this team falls back just a bit for a year or so.
