Too old...great guy with a LOT of talent that won a lot of games based on talent. Not sure how he would do recruiting without the GA talent that's going to end up at UGA regardless..

55 is not that old. He can coach another 10 years easily. I think we need an experienced coach to clean the mess up.
It's simple in my mind. We hire the best coach available. I think Richt is the best coach available. Until he says no, go after him full force. He's actually available now unlike Smart or Herman. If you try to fit a hire into a mold, you end up not getting the best guy.
