Do you think USC is being played? I was really excited about all the Muschamp talk. I don't understand why some posters fed this excitement with false info. It just makes you cynical about posters.

I don't think we're being played, BC I don't think GA & Spurrier are that naive. We're doing the part in the dance that is expected within the community, nothing more or less.

Edit: He is almost certainly not coming to USC though.

And you know this how? I don't think anyone other than staff and Golson really know what will happen. He needs a waiver from SEC but if it's granted I think we have a good chance and I would be happy if he comes

I hope we get him but this does feel a lot like the Muschamp situation. I won't be convinced until it's official.

We're not going to take a new QB for only one year that expects to start. So you can all forget about it. People thinking this can actually happen are not using their brains. The coaches are not going to invite a QB controversy to this season.

Well I guess I am not using my brain. If he can help us win games and bridge a gap until Mitch Nunez or McIlwain are ready I say do it. Who cares about a QB controversy. The best should play and if someone is unhappy they can leave. Happens to lots of teams. Look at Ohio St. They have a controversy but I doubt Myer is too worried. It's about playing the QB who best helps you win

I thought the same thing. The local media seems to think there's no chance and the national media thinks there is. I guess I'm going with the locals on this one.
