In the past we were forced to play soft up front and prevent with our backs. It seemed as if we were able to play an attacking defense with our 7-8 defensive linemen and much tighter with DBs and manned up a good bit against Michigan. Kudos to our defensive coaches...great schemes throughout the game, great development of talent and depth, a good use of Dl on a per down/situation basis and a remarkable display of "cutting our young men loose" to play with confidence and enthusiasm. I can't wait to see how our defense looks in 2018-2019...Athletic, aggressive kids who play smart and don't quit. It appears our coaching staff can develop players and I think high school kids can sense / see that. I am optimistic about the future. Maybe 10 wins this coming year and a trip to Atlanta...
