I remember listening to the 107.5 post-game show during Muschamp's last season. Post-game crew before taking any calls would say "we know you're frustrated with the head coach but we're going to reserve all judgement until after the season ends and the AD does his own review". Yeah, of course you're not going to comment on if Muschamp should be fired (even though you know he should) because it's university sponsored coverage and when the season's over nobody can call in and complain. 😂

Like I had said before, if this team is invited to tourney, just turn it down and save $$$. Better than wasting money in a Two and out in Greenville or Pickens.
Nooo. This is a really bad stretch but we have the ability to beat good teams if they can shake off this current funk. We've beaten many teams in the Top 25 this season and several of those in the Top 5.

This team is not good, can they make a miraculous turn around I guess anything is possible, but not probable IMO. Glad to see your rainbows and unicorns attitude. I hope miracles do happen.
The CWS can be a lottery. In 2022, Ole Miss had 23 losses and was no better than us. They went on a tear and won the whole thing. We've shown we can beat the top teams when we're playing well. Right now, we're not playing well but we've got a chance to get hot again. Why wouldn't you want to see what happens?
13-17 is pathetic. Had a chance to host a week ago and now guaranteed they'll be traveling. Assuming they make the NCAA's

They will make it. As a 3 seed somewhere. But IMO it will be a quick 2 and out, but Kingston feels they can win it All.

Yeah they will. Leaving Hoover early won't help matters but that's what we usually do.
We're obviously not a great team. However, average teams make it to Omaha all the time and sometimes they win it all. The college baseball post season is typically about who the hottest team is at the time. Completely different than the college football post-season where one of the perennial elite teams usually prevails.
Let’s just hope they don’t have to go to Pickens, no reason to make it easier for the taters!!
This is not the first year we have gotten worse as the season went along. It's what happens when corrections aren't made and development is non-existent.
I'm not advocating for Kingston at this point unless he can make some noise in the post season. He's had enough time. His resume reminds me a lot of what we had with Frank Martin in basketball -- all over the place.
My only point is that we've proven we can go on winning steaks and we have beaten the best teams in the country this season. Just hoping the pendulum can swing back at the right time.
I would like nothing more than see this team get to Omaha.

Agreed. I believe it's a reasonable expectation to get there within six years. Close is not good enough in a 6th year. Close should be able to get you change for change sake.

Yeah but, 9 SEC baseball teams (6 different teams) have won the CWS in the last 13 attempts (remember 2020 never happened.) And the SEC would appear to have excellent entrees in the 2024 Derby. But, that's baseball. We play for "KEEPS" in the SEC.
P.S. 4 of the top 5 ranked baseball teams are SEC. In football Carolina only plays 8 games ... Old Dominion, Vandy, Akron and Waffle DO NOT QUALIFY as "WORTHY OPPONENTS" ... "CUPCAKES"!!! If you will. ...

My point is you’re advising them to quit and imo that’s pathetic! If you think these kids like getting dusted and letting all the so called fans down I would say your mistaken!
Sorry, I am sure they are trying, probably lack of a manager and proper training has hindered them, maybe they should enter the portal in search of a manager that can help them grow?? I am sure they are getting a free education, so don’t cry for them, one that I am having to pay for, and they will be fine. Glad you have so much empathy!!
I'm not sure about the managing and training, but I am sure baseball gets 11.7 scholarships, so they are not getting a free education. I sent two through USC as well, but I won't put down a kid on an athletic scholarship!
These “kids” knew what they were signing up for!! Don’t give me this holier than thou attitude. They knew what could happen!! Now having said that, I blame the coaching staff for not developing their talent beyond what they were in high school!! I guarantee a bunch hit the portal if they keep this staff.
Actually I am not sure if it has, and whether or not this team is up to “average” is a question. Not average in conference for sure!!

I knew the parents of one of the players on the team two years ago. After a failed freshman year of pitching he transferred to a small college and failed there as well. Our teams are bad because our recruiting sucks — not to mention how the other aspects of coaching suck as well.
