UT was tough as nails, even without their best player.

They threw up a lot of prayers that were answered. The girls missed at least 10 lay ups and missed foul shots that could have put them away. Anyway a hard earned win.

Could have easily won by double digits. But I am sure glad we won the game. It is all that really matters.

This is a good women's basketball team at USC. No doubt. Great win for the Lady G's.
But the same things that hurt this team in the Sweet Sixteen last year and at times this year continue to be troublesome.
Too many missed layups...too many missed clutch free throws down the stretch...and irregular guard play.
These are the things that must be corrected if this team is to make a deep run in the NCAA's...and get to the Final Four.
Hopefully...the team will get the job done.
