Holgorsen to Houston

sounds like Houston is going to fire Major Applewhite after two seasons and hire Dana Holgerson from WVU. I guess he wants out. Seems like he could’ve gotten a better job than Houston.

Apparently this was done to try to get Houston into the B12 but apparently has had a negative impact. Sounds like a compelete mess. Won’t be shocked if Holgerson pulls out of it all by the time it’s all said and done. But I’m sure there is s big program that would love to have him. His buyout goes from $2.5M to $1M after tomorrow, so that’s the delay apparently.

I’d be nervous if I’m Houston with him having 2 more days to think about it.

Dana built for this year at WVU with that QB figuring it was their one shot to win that conference. Came up a little short. Probably not wanting to go through the rebuild as those fans think WVU football should be something it isn't. Another twist in this is that Dana is close friends with Houston's billionaire sugar daddy that will fund aanything to get Dana there.
