who is leading the conference in Opponent BA AVG? That would be our good ol' opponent this weekend Mizzou. Just when you think you can take it easy because we aren't facing a VAndy or LSU staff here comes the #1 Opp. BA with a 3 game series..Nothing easy in the SEC..

Good news is besides their 3 game sweep of UGA last week a majority of their opponents have been less than stellar in non conference. It shapes up to be a low scoring, small ball weekend but you never know. I'll take a 2 outta 3 every week on the SEC road.....Don't forget Saturdays game at 330 on the SEC network while the other 2 are SEC+.

I went on their official athletic website a couple of days ago and yes, statistically they have some good staff ERAs. They're sort of an enigma right now in they swept Georgia on the road, but got swept by Milwaukee on their home field in Columbia. It' s a good feeling knowing that with Crowe and Winkoop as starting pitchers we just have to score a few runs to have a chance tonight and tomorrow. No, there are no breathers in the SEC anymore, everybody has game these days.
